Children are difficult to please, it's a mammoth-like challenge to motivate and engage with them. They play to grow, and to guide (but not interrupt this process) is an art form in itself . As a climbing instructor, I can say the sport is equal parts work and play, heavily reliant on teamwork and synergy. These activity sheets are an attempt to make exercise productive fun & absurd.

Weaponising Fun.
Each Magic Mountain sheet combines illustration, storytelling, and physical challenges to turn climbing into a narrative adventure. Whether scaling like a spider, facing off against rodent royalty, or earning a microwaved medal, kids are encouraged to move with purpose—and laugh while doing it.
The tone is deliberately absurd, pulling inspiration from Japanese packaging, retro cereal boxes, and in-jokes from the gym. Designed to be photocopied, coloured, and completed, the sheets are an open-ended, analog way to foster fun, focus, and group energy.
